March 7, 2014 by Ed

This starts with a call showing as  “Technical Support 1-800-922-0204,” in caller ID. A message directs the customer to go to www.verizon54.com to claim a $54 bonus. Their goal is to get your Verizon logon information. An audio recording of this scam is available  at: https://soundcloud.com/droidlife/verizon54-scam
